Unwilt

Terms of Use

Last updated 6 September 2026

These terms apply when you use Unwilt. Timaion LLC operates it. If you do not agree with them, do not use the app.

What Unwilt is, and is not

Unwilt gives horticultural guidance based on photographs. It ranks what is probably wrong, says how confident it is, and tells you what it could not see. Its answers are opinions produced by a model, not certainties — which is why the app shows a confidence figure rather than a verdict, and why it hands you to a nursery when it is not confident enough.

Plants die for reasons no photograph can show, and following the app's advice may not save yours. Treatments involve real substances applied to living things: read the label on anything you buy, keep it away from children and animals, and follow the manufacturer's instructions over ours where they differ. For anything valuable, rare or ambiguous, ask a person who can put hands on the plant.

Unwilt is not advice about human or animal health. Toxicity notes in the app are general and not a substitute for a doctor, a vet or a poison control line.

Subscriptions

Identifying plants is free and unlimited. Diagnosis, treatment plans and weekly check-ins require a subscription.

Your content

The photographs you upload remain yours. You give us permission to process them for the sole purpose of answering your question and showing you your own history. We do not use them for advertising and we do not publish them. See the Privacy Policy for how long they are kept and how to delete them.

Do not upload photographs you have no right to use, or anything that is not a plant.

Fair use

Each diagnosis costs us real money to produce. The app applies a fair-use limit to catch automated or commercial-scale use. Ordinary use by a person looking after their own plants will not reach it.

Availability, and the usual limits

We do not promise the app will always be available or always be right. To the fullest extent the law allows, Unwilt is provided as-is, and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and ending

We may change these terms; if a change matters we will say so in the app before it takes effect. You can stop using Unwilt at any time and delete everything from You → Your data.

Governing law

California law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
